Din guzarta hai to mein raat mein aa jata hon
yun haqeeqat se khayalat mein aa jata hon
Jaanta hon ke mohabbat to haseen dhoka hai
phir bhi mein saazish-e-jazbaat mein aa jata hon
English Explanation
The poet talks about the deep emotions of love and the pressure of society. Here’s an English explanation of this poetry:
Verse 1: “When the day ends, I enter into the night,
From reality, I shift into thoughts.”
The poet says that I am transitioning from the harsh truths of the day to the comfort of night. Then he says the reality is harsh, and I feel comfort in the imagination.
Verse 2:
“I know that love is a beautiful deceit,
Yet I still get caught in the conspiracy of emotions.”
The poet describes that love is often an illusion, a mirage of beauty. Despite knowing this fact, the poet cannot resist being influenced by his feelings and desires.
Verse 3:
“In answering her share of questions,
I find myself entangled in the world’s questions.”
The poet speaks of the sacrifices he makes for someone dear. In doing so, he becomes burdened by the inquiries and judgments of society. The verse reflects the clash between personal choices and societal pressure.
